






Artful Tribute
This is an original environment that I assembled using some assets that I created for a small Unreal level. The intention was to create an interior environment to include it in the demo reel.
I planned to create some sort of a cold room experimenting with the specularity of the materials, but the shadows and fog made it hard to appreciate. I switched things up and reduced greatly the intensity of the fog and specular, and switched the color of the lights to give it an abandoned look with some sort of coldness in it, helping it be more interesting and able to appreciate.
The metal barrel was not part of the assets but it was the first 3d model that I have created. I included it as a tribute to my first 3d art professor as gratitude for providing an excellent introductory class to 3d modeling.
Lastly, for this environment I experimented with special effects by adding a flickering light effect to one of the lamps, which can be seen in action in the demo reel.
